Rakesh
Jhaveri
Rakesh currently serves as tkLABS's President
and leads the business team. Prior to that, Rakesh worked for Lightsurf
Technologies in the development of the camera phone as well as providing
integration and training support to their OEM PictureMail clients.
Earlier in his career, Rakesh worked for Bell Labs in the development of
Long Distance Call Switches. In 1996 he joined Motorola, where he was
instrumental in developing iDEN mobile technology.
Rakesh received his
B.S in Computer Engineering from University of Puerto Rico.
Douglas
Lenz
Douglas currently serves as tkLABS's Vice
President. Douglas leads the Embedded Software and Electrical
development teams as well as
supporting the company wide infrastructure. At tkLABS, he has also led the
product team for the Nextel BlackBerry products. Previous employment saw Doug at LightSurf Technologies where
he lead the embedded development team and prior to that, 12 years at Motorola,
where he introduced iDEN mobile technology.
Douglas received
his B.S in Electrical Engineering and his M.S. in Electrical Engineering and
Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Alex
Wang
Alex
Wang leads the Mobile Applications and Client-Server Application teams.
He introduced
iDEN mobile technology at Motorola where he was for 9 years. Prior to that,
during his employment at LightSurf Technologies, he specialized in MMS
technologies and helped Motorola release its first camera phone.
Alex received his
B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Florida and his M.S. in
Computer Engineering from Florida Atlantic University.
Todd
Russell
Todd
Russell leads the Data Protocols team specializing in all areas of Mobile IP,
NAT, and TCP/IP. After 7 years with Motorola, he worked for LightSurf
Technologies leading the development of the BREW version of LightSurf's
PictureMail client.
Earlier
in his career, Todd worked for IBM where he helped develop their first color
laser printer.
Todd received his
B.S. in Engineering Mathematics and Computer Science and his Masters of
Engineering in Engineering Mathematics and Computer Science from J.B. Speed
School of Engineering, University of Louisville.
Alan
Chan
Alan
Chan leads the Embedded Java development team at tkLABS and is the resident
expert on ZigBee technology. He previously worked for LightSurf Technologies
helping Motorola release their first camera phone as well as leading the
development of the J2ME version of LightSurf's Picturemail client. Before
that, Alan was with Motorola for 10 years.
Alan received his
B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida and his M.S. in
Electrical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University.
Brett
Gilmer
Brett
Gilmer leads the Windows Mobile development team at tkLABS. Previously, Brett helped
LightSurf Technologies release the Windows Mobile version of LightSurf's
Picturemail client, having previously worked for Motorola 6 years.
Brett received his B.S. in Computer Science from University of Richmond.
