iDEN (Nextel) High Speed Wireless Network

Helped design the protocol used for the iDEN (Nextel) High Speed Wireless Network. Increased the throughput of the iDEN/Nextel IP packet data network by 4x. Integrated the High Speed protocol on handsets offered by iDEN carriers worldwide.

Media Communications Library

tkLABS worked with the LightSurf Technologies team to develop the Media Communications Library (MCL) currently in use in most SprintPCS camera equipped phones. This library allows users to send/receive media rich content from their mobile phones. Our team developed XML parsers, WSP encoding/decoding, MM1 protocol, and many other features.
